State of Belief

The core and foundation of our beliefs is the Bible, God's written Word, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe that it was uniquely, verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it was written without error (inerrant) in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.

The BIBLE is God's word. Its contents are holy, inspired, inerrant, and the final authority for faith and practice.

GOD is one, holy, loving, unchanging, and eternally existent in three persons-the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

JESUS is the is the eternally begotten, not made, Son of God. He is fully God and fully man. By his perfect obedience and sacrifice on the cross, He became the only Savior of the world for all who would believe in Him.

The HOLY SPIRIT is the third person of the triune God. Man is utterly dependent upon the Spirit for growth in holiness.

MAN is created in the image of God as either male or female. As created beings in His image, we are all subject to the rule and reign of our Creator. Being created in the image of God, every person has dignity, worth, and is distinguished from the rest of the created order.
