  • Adrian Young will review several concepts and strategies to help advisors build credibility and opportunity with other professionals who specialize in different but related services, particularly tax and estate planning.

About Adrian Young

Adrian serves as a trusted resource for advisors, clients and other professionals throughout the country.  An attorney and CFP, Adrian serves as Ambassador Advisor’s Chief Compliance Officer and leader of Ambassador’s planning department, where he spends much of his time helping the team at Ambassador develop and implement estate, charitable and other strategies for clients. Adrian relishes the opportunity to employ cutting-edge techniques and, when needed, anticipating change and improvising to create new client solutions.  Adrian’s law firm, Aevitas Law, serves as an emissary for advisors building relationships with other attorneys, as well as an implementation arm for clients that don’t already have strong legal representation.

Adrian is a big proponent of Aligning Professionals to deliver the best solutions to clients, and he regularly works with other legal and tax experts to help advisors maximize the value they bring to the community. After graduating with honors in International Business and Management from Dickinson College, Adrian went on to complete his Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administration at Temple University. Adrian is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®, a Certified Financial Planner™, and just recently finished the course work and passed the exam necessary to become a Certified Kingdom Advisor.

About Brent Owens

Brent literally grew up in the financial planning business having started working while a senior in high school. After graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1992, he joined the CFD Companies full-time. His responsibilities include being the President and Operations Manager for two national companies, cfd Investments, Inc. and Creative Financial Designs, Inc. Brent has continued his education by completing the requirements for the FINRA General Securities Principal as well as the Financial and Operations Principal licenses. He also received his CCFC Designation (Certified Christian Financial Consultant) through the National Association of Christian Financial Consultants and has passed the first two sections of the CFP® certification process.

Brent and his wife Brandi have been blessed with six children. They are Maria (24), Erin (22), Lydia (22), Tyler (20), Bailey (20), and Mitchell (15). He has spent his entire life in the Howard County area, graduating from Taylor High School in 1988. He was involved with Kokomo’s local Semi-Pro Baseball team, the cfd Saints, from 1989 – 2002 and continues his involvement in the community by being the Varsity Baseball Coach at Taylor High School during the spring and summer. He has also been a member of Morning Star Church since 1988.

Brent is dedicated to serving his 200+ clients and believes that all clients should have a financial plan.

John Parrott serves as the Executive Pastor for Discovery Church in Orlando, Florida. Prior to his current role at Discovery, John served as the Campus and Worship Arts Pastor. As a professional musician, John still utilizes his musical gifts to lead worship when called upon. John has a passion for teaching God’s Word within the context of its cultural origin, and applying the timeless Truth’s to today’s world. John has spent time, over the past 4 years, studying the Bible in Israel and Turkey to be better equipped for his current pastoral roles. He and his wife, Colleen, have been married for 22 years. Together, they have 4 children and one grandchild.

About Jeff Cave

Jeff Cave serves as Director of Institutional Markets for Eventide. He is responsible for institutional sales and client service.
Prior to joining Eventide in 2015, Mr. Cave was with Merrill Lynch for almost 23 years, most recently as Director, Ultra High Net Worth Wealth Management Specialist for the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch, based in New York City. Mr. Cave holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst certification, administered by Investment Management Consultants Association and taught in conjunction with the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Kingdom Advisor and member of the Board of Kingdom Advisors and the Board of Managers for the Ron Blue Institute for Financial Planning.
He holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota and a BBA in Management and Marketing from Loyola University.
